Forrester Construction‘s project required the renovation of nearly 80,000 SF inside an aggressive schedule for Nalle Elementary School. Located in the Marshall Heights neighborhood of Washington, DC, for this public school’s “Summer Blitz” project Forrester completed renovations and updates during the summer break to minimize disruptions to students.
Work performed on the school focused on revitalizing the existing building with new HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems. New vinyl flooring and ceramic was installed throughout the school as well as a complete window replacement. Classrooms received new layouts, ADA upgrades and restrooms in each. A new art room, media center and administration area were also constructed.
