K.D. Christian is a privately owned commercial construction company located in Stilwell, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. We have been in business since 1984. We are fully licensed, insured, and bondable.

We specialize in metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustical ceiling work. We have extensive experience in new construction, renovation, and tenant improvements. Our resume includes office buildings, schools, government / institutional buildings, healthcare facilities, big box retail, grocery stores, strip centers, multi-family residential, historical restoration, and hotel / hospitality facilities. We have completed several LEED certified projects, and have LEED GA accredited staff. We can provide pre-construction and value-engineering assistance as well as include engineering / design services related to our scope of work if desired.
In addition to the above listed areas of expertise, we have the capability to perform selective demolition work and miscellaneous rough and finish carpentry installation work, including wood blocking and backing, millwork / casework, doors / frames / hardware, toilet partitions and accessories, corner guards, marker boards, fire extinguisher cabinets, etc. We can furnish and install these items or provide installation only of General Contractor / Owner furnished material if you prefer. We also provide acoustical / tackable wall panels.
