Scope Of Work

North Naples Community Hospital is growing along with the community with the addition of a new six-story patient tower. Designed and constructed in phases, the new tower will add 87 beds initially and can accommodate an 100 additional beds to meet future needs. The design team worked closely with the hospital to meet the needs of patients, their families, and the staff. For instance, before design got under way, mock-ups for the critical care and medical-surgical rooms were created and displayed where staff could view them and make recommendations.Patient rooms will be on all four exterior sides of the curved tower with floor-to-ceiling windows for ample daylighting. Standing work stations for nurses will be at both ends on each floor. The majority of the patient rooms in the new tower are private and many of the semi-private rooms in the current building will be converted into private rooms. Areas where visitors frequent are located on the first floor of the tower including the cafeteria, pharmacy, chapel, gift shop and laboratory. The second floor houses the critical care unit with 16 intensive-care beds and 19 progressive or step-down beds. The pediatrics unit with 21 beds and four step-down beds is located on the third floor.The project includes a five-level parking garage and a covered walkway connecting the tower to the garage and the existing hospital. Shelled-in spaces on the fifth and sixth floors provide the room and flexibility for future growth. When the tower and walkway are complete, renovation to the current patient wing will begin.

Provide and Install a Complete HVAC System, to include but not limited to Chillers, AHU, Cooling Towers, VAV's, VFD's, Pumps & Accessories, Air Distribution, Exhaust Fans, Split Systems, Louvers, Fire & Smoke Dampers, Spiral Duct, Sheetmetal, Insulation, Controls and Test & Balance.
