Scope Of Work
This 543,380 SF is a Design-Build led by Blaine in which an existing distribution was transformed into a steel can manufacturing that will produce 2 billion cans per year.
Part retrofit required that approximately 120,000 SF of slab be removed replaced with a thicker reinforced slab that could support requirements new manufacturing process. Along with Process related foundations pits, a new 65,000 SF mezzanine was constructed within to support can conveyors, scrap conveyors, gas piping, compressed air, 12 MW power distributed to manufacturing lines. High end floor coatings, painting steel, color-coding all piping will serve to reflect high quality image this food-grade .
addition to up fit existing , included various improvements such as an oxidizer pad, chemical unloading containment , steel coil unloading pier, upgraded high voltage electrical , upgraded water, natural gas sewer , a new parking lot sidewalks.
