Scope Of Work
Located immediately east of Saint Louis University, Council Tower Senior Apartments is a 27-story building constructed in 1969, which contains 50 studio units and 175 one-bedroom units. This renovation project, which received HUD financing and both low income housing and historic tax credits, included modernization of 3 passenger elevators, electrical system upgrade, new plumbing and HVAC systems, window replacements on both elevations, new interior finishes, including painting, flooring and cabinets, and exterior site improvements. Most prominent was the complete recreation of Saunders Schultz's original masonry sculpture "Finite-Infinite" on the east facade. Read more about the project in a St. Louis Post Dispatch article.
