Scope Of Work
The new Wollman Park Aquatic Center replaced a 1937 Works Progress Administration project pool that used over 2,000,000 gallons of water annually. The new Aquatic Center provides many popular features including zero-depth entry, water slides, a separate kiddie pool, and lap lanes. A new building with a multiple-level pump house and bathhouses containing lockers and shower, concession area, guard area, and office space was constructed. Other construction items included retaining walls, landscaping and a lawn sprinkler system.
