Scope Of Work

The Three Mile Creek Trail begins at the Leavenworth Landing Riverfront Park and follows the Three Mile Creek channel to Haymarket Square. As the concrete trail progresses west from Leavenworth Landing, it crosses Three Mile Creek on an old railroad bridge that was renovated with a new concrete bridge deck. The scope of construction involved clearing, erosion control, site demolition, grading, storm drainage, modular retaining walls, structural concrete work, precast concrete and erection, concrete trail pavement, concrete slope paving, structural steel and erection, handrail installation, fence installation, trail signage, seeding and re-vegetation along the trail. The project was constructed in seven months and MegaKC self-performed 62% of the contract by performing all of the structural concrete, precast concrete erection, concrete trail pavement, concrete slope paving, structural steel erection, and furnishings installation work.
