John A. Grant, Jr., Inc. (JAG) has a long and storied history in South Florida. As one of the oldest engineering and surveying firms in Palm Beach County, our company has both the knowledge and experience to deal with the many issues that arise in project development.
JAG was the engineer and surveyor for the first Planned Unit Development (PUD), Boca Del Mar, in all of Palm Beach County.
Given our long History, JAG has had the opportunity to work for numerous government agencies including, but not limited to, the counties of Broward and Palm Beach, the cities of Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Delray Beach, Lighthouse Point, Pompano Beach, Bay Harbor, Hillsboro Inlet District, Hillsboro Beach, and Lantana, FDOT, The Turnpike Authority, FAU, US Corps of Engineers, Florida Department of Natural Resources, Lake Worth Drainage District and the Florida Department of Education.
Unlike the larger firms with high corporate overhead, it is our efficiency, experience and flexibility that allow us to deliver a high quality product on a reasonable budget. With over 45 years of engineering and surveying experience, JAG is well versed in the issues of design and construction schedules and their effect on project budgets. Through the utilization of early and continuous communication avenues, JAG moves quickly to identify and resolve the issues that impact a municipal project's budget or schedule.
JAG has in-house subsurface utility engineering department for use when dealing with the almost inevitable underground infrastructure issues that arise in redevelopment projects, providing both horizontal and vertical utility locations.
JAG is a certified Palm Beach County Small Business Enterprise and FDOT certified in Land Surveying 8.2 with Subsurface Utility Engineering.
