Scope Of Work
Dabbs Williams was honored to have been selected as general contractor for this state-of-the-art education facility located in Savannah, Georgia and designed by James Buckley & Associates. The 14,000 square foot, $2 million addition included twelve classrooms, bathroom facilities and media center. The free standing addition included a teacher’s resource suite including conference/work room and support areas (custodial, storage, electrical and data server rooms). New classrooms were built to support the latest technology employed by the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS). An energy efficient mechanical system was installed. Also, a new canopy connects the existing campus and bus canopy plus all data, fire alarm, and intercom systems are connected back to the existing facilities. The new wing eliminated old portable classrooms buildings and created green space.
