Scope Of Work
MCL Construction was selected to be the Construction Manager and General Contractor for Discovery Presbyterian Church in Omaha, Nebraska.
The two-story addition allowed the congregation to have more meeting room space, a larger and more welcoming vestibule, and a much needed elevator.
The interior renovation of the church included remodeling of office space and restrooms. The biggest change to the sanctuary included a new clerestory structural system allowing translucent panels to be installed. Behind the altar is a new curtain wall system with the shape of a cross. Both of these features add a lot of natural light to the interior of the sanctuary and an architectural appeal to the exterior.
