Downtown at the Garden is a larger outdoor, high end retail facility in the heart of Palm Beach. P & A coordinated the installation of this roof system with the Hoar Construction management team on a daily basis. The roof system consisted of mechanically attached insulation boards and a .060 thermo plastic roof membrane installed and attached to the metal deck.
We coordinated all of the tenant improvements with the owners representative and the Tenant Improvement Contractors for each and every store that moved in the mall. That is the reason that the change orders were in excess of 5%. Each tenant has owns their own MEP improvement that had to be coordinated with Hoar and the Owner of this project.
There was a significant amount of decorative metal flashing work along the perimeters of all of these building at intermediate ledges and architectural features. P & A Roofing enjoys the facilities of its own architectural metal shop, “in-house”. Our sheet metal mechanics are some of the most experienced crews in the roofing industry.
We have the ability to incorporate owner designs and assimilate difficult projects by use of this very extensive metal shop. We use computerized brakes, shears, plasma cutting devices and computers.
Downtown at the Gardens did not lose any roofs and was not impacted by hurricane Wilma which diod a great deal of damage to Palm Beach county.
We had no accidents on this project and no warranty claims.
