Scope Of Work
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport 01-19 Runway Overlay & Taxiway Rehabilitation involved removal of approximately 300,000 square yards of variable depth HMA under extremely critical time frames and tolerances. It required the coordination of multiple tasks and multiple milling machines during the same critical time frame. The operation was lead by Charles B. Boswell of Mark-Lang, Inc. Work began in June of 2011 and was completed by the required completed date of November 2011. This project is featured in the Asphalt Contractor magazine June/July 2012 issue and was the cover story.
