Scope Of Work
was brought on board by the City to conduct a rehabilitation project that would be spread out over a 5-year period alloting certian filter banks to be performed each fiscal year. The 5 -year contract included (3) Filter banks (1-2, 3-8 & 9-11) provided in (3) seperate purcahse orders.
Rehabilitation restraints required only (2) filters be shutdown at a time and the remaining filters be kept in service. The rehabilitation work included; filter media removal and replacement, removal and replacement of the underdrain systems, removal and replacement of surface wash water systems, cleaning and repairing the FRP backwash troughs, concrete basin repairs and crack injection, and interior basin wall coatings.
The City was able to find additional funding allowing to fast track the project and completion within a 3-year period.
