Scope Of Work
The Fireside Elementary School project, built for the Paradise Valley Unified School District, included the new construction of a two-story, 87,759 square foot elementary school campus located in Phoenix, AZ. The facility supports approximately 880 students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade and Special Education Programs. The elementary school campus features two parking lots, student pick-up and drop-off lanes, a bus lane, multiple play areas, basketball courts, and baseball, softball, and soccer fields. The project also includes a photovoltaic system consisting of solar collection panels, low flow plumbing fixtures, rain water collection silos, and water cisterns for irrigating the sports fields. Arizona Public Service awarded this project with the Energy Award for innovative ‘net-zero’ building design for reducing energy costs. The Fireside Elementary School project now educates the Desert Ridge community about solar energy and water conservation techniques with significant reduced energy costs.
