Building Overview 

As an “All American City,” Delray Beach is known for its beautiful beaches. Located less than a mile from these beautiful beaches sits Lakeside at Delray, a community association of buildings with aging roofs. 

The Challenge

This community association was proactive and wanted to ensure their aging mod bit roofs were protected and preserved. Taking multiple bids meant several options with several different price points.

Solution

After a moisture survey and roof assessment were completed, the association was vigilant in their search for a proven roof coating product. They needed to be supported by a manufacturer’s warranty they could trust and have the professional service and attention to detail they desired. With the bid from an approved contractor along with the dependable service of the local manufacturer’s . representative, they were able to consider many options in their local vicinity and assure their officers the product and application were indeed what they desired. After cleaning and priming the existing roof, flashing details were performed to ensure movement points on the roof would not see future moisture intrusion. Once completed, three coats of United Coatings™ Unisil HS Roof Coating were applied to protect the roofs from the weathering effects that Florida is known for.
