Scope Of Work
St. Rita of Cascia High School is an all-male Roman Catholic high school founded in 1905 and operated by the Order of St. Augustine. Located in the southwest side of Chicago, St. Rita’s has existed at its South Western Avenue campus since 1990.
When St. Rita was building its new student center, Fr. Tom McCarthy, for whom the student center was named, contacted Ridgeworth Roofing about a roof for the new facility. St. Rita High School holds a special significance for Ridgeworth Roofing and the Petrick family, as company founder Robert Petrick and current President and Owner Rodney Petrick are members of the Classes of 1947 and 1975, respectively.
An essential part of student life, the McCarthy Center provides St. Rita students with a safe, enriching environment for studying, socialization, and recreation during after-school hours. Rod Petrick and his family decided to support the school by donating the entire roofing system, which meets the current energy and roof reflectivity codes of the City of Chicago.
Ridgeworth Roofing is proud to have been able to contribute to the continued growth and success of St. Rita of Cascia High School.
