Scope Of Work
Located in Homer Glen, Illinois, Shady Oaks Camp is a summer camp for children and adults with cerebral palsy and similar disabilities. Since 1947, campers have enjoyed many recreational activities during the summer including: swimming, handicrafts, song fests, movies, and field-trips.
Chris Coleman of Enterprise Air Conditioning & Heating Service is a Burbank Lyons Club Past President, Zone 5A, District 1A chair, and Leadership Initiative Program Team member. Chris contacted Rod Petrick of Ridgeworth Roofing, also a Lyons Club member, about charity work for the roof of one of the Shady Oaks Camp buildings. Rod discussed the project with his employees and expressed that, even in difficult times, Ridgeworth Roofing needed to give back to the community. Using the Ridgeworth-donated materials, Manny Cabrera, Dave Cler, Brian Dubin, Jim Hoese, Jack McGill, Brian Petrick, and Bob Rauch completed the re-roof. Thanks, guys!
Ridgeworth Roofing strives to participate in at least one or more charitable projects a year.
