Scope Of Work
This project consists of the conversion of the Sawgrass Expressway/SR-869 to an all electronic tolling (AET) facility from Interstate 75 to the Florida’s Turnpike Mainline/SR-91. This project includes 19 new all electronic tolling locations: 17 new tri-chord gantries and 2 accessible gantries. Simultaneous traffic shifts at the locations are required throughout the project.
Additional scopes of work include earthwork, construction of 17 toll equipment buildings, demolition of existing plazas, earthwork, drainage, ITS, lighting, signalization, milling, and asphalt paving.
