Scope Of Work

In November 2016, the North Florida Asphalt Division began an FDOT contract requiring 158,000 tons of hot mix asphalt and improvements along I-75 at State Road 222 up to north of US 441 in Alachua County. Improvements under this contract consist of milling & resurfacing, base work, shoulder treatment, drainage improvements, curb & gutters, traffic signals, lighting, wildlife fencing, highway signage, guardrail, sidewalks/bicycle path and other incidental construction. This FDOT interstate milling and resurfacing contract was a very challenging project, involving the correction of cross slopes and super-elevated curves throughout the project limits. Incidental work is all that remains before final completion.
