Since 1987, E.J. Paving Co. Inc. of Methuen has been servicing residential, commercial, state and municipal customers in Massachusetts and New England states. Hands on owner, Tom Evangelista, takes pride and guarantees satisfaction in every job from the smallest private walkway to major highways. Our professionally trained team combined with our large fleet of state of the art equipment produces quality asphalt products at competitive prices. For over 30 years, E.J. At E.J. Paving our employees include twelve full time managers, two full time mechanics, highly trained and educated accounting staff, and over 40 laborers, truck drivers and equipment operators. All of our field employees are currently trained in OSHA keeping them current with all new safety regulations. Our employees are subject to being randomly selected to report for random drug testing which allows us to constantly inspect them. E.J. In 1987, we opened the doors with only one dump truck, pick-up truck, a roller and one bobcat. To date we have over 100 pieces of full service paving equipment. We also now own and operate a state of the art Wirtgen i150 milling machine and Wirtgen i30 trimmer allowing us to expand our services. Our full time mechanics combined have over 30 years experience in the construction industry. They make sure that all of our equipment is running efficiently so that all paving jobs can be completed in a safe and timely fashion.

Located in Methuen, MA, E.J. Paving has over 10,000 sq. ft. of office, locker room, and garage space. In addition, we have over 1200 sq. ft. of parking so that all of our equipment can be parked on site and driven to the work sites quickly. We are conveniently located just minutes from the highway so we can quickly access all major highways in New England.

PUBLIC PROJECTS: As a MASS DOT prequalified contractor, E.J. Paving Co. Inc. ensures its customers of the highest quality product in the area. Working in the Metro Boston area can bring forth many difficult situations. While working with city and town officials on traffic plans and situational problems, E.J. Paving delivers high quality workmanship with very low impact to residents and motorists.

E.J. Paving's scope of work in cities and towns ranges from major road reconstructions, milling, and resurfacing of sidewalks both asphalt and concrete. We also install granite,concrete and asphalt curbing.

E.J. paving has also worked with many housing authorities throughout major cities and towns undertaking large full site reconstruction projects. These projects have included everything from new parking areas, sidewalks, and landscaping to the smallest projects that include but not limited to new handicap ramps, curbing and drainage. Some of the housing authorities have had multiple locations, so working with housing management on notices for residents and scheduling was crucial to the projects success.

MILLING AND COLD PLANING:: E.J. Paving currently employs a full service milling crew from highly trained operators and laborers to in house mechanics. We have spent countless hours not only in the field but in the classroom and safety courses. Along with our state of the art equipment, our milling crew is available for 24/7 service to handle any milling project from full width (curb-to-curb) to trench repair. There is no project too small that we can't complete.

RECREATION & STREETPRINT: We have paved cart paths at over 50 golf courses across MA. E.J. Paving works with the course superintendents to make sure daily schedules are not interrupted. Projects we are very proud of include but not limited to Merrimack Golf Course Methuen MA, Bass River Golf Course Gloucester MA, Thompson Country Club North Reading MA, and Haverhill Country Club.

TRACKS: Throughout the years our company has completed numerous running tracks including Lawrence Veterans Memorial Stadium, Barnstable High School Track, and City of Quincy Track. In 2014, we have accomplished one of our biggest challenges in paving the Whiskey Hill Race Track in Ware, MA. The Palmer Motorsports Park project started in April of 2014. This project had many unique aspects in order to meet track sanctioning standards.

SPORT COURTS:E.J. Paving takes pride in the many different recreational projects we have completed over the years. Some of these projects include basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields and residential sports courts. Being unique these projects require expertise in both pitch and smoothness to meet specifications. We take pride in striving for perfection of each individual facility. We do everything possible to meet our customers needs.

STREET PRINT:E.J. Paving, a licensed Streetprint Texturing Installer, has done a lot of work with street printing on many different locations such as driveways, roadways, and sporting facilities. One benefit of street printing an area is it's decorative appeal. There are many unique patterns and colors that are available to choose from. When an area is street printed the coating protects it from oil and oxidation which can extend the life of a driveway or a roadway. Streetprinted jobs have a lifetime of anywhere between 15-30 years.
