Scope Of Work

Once the construction was complete, we did a thorough cleaning of all Air Handle Units, terminal air units, supply air ducts, return air ducts, transfer air ducts, outside make-up air ducts, general exhaust air ducts, and all associated air vents. Our services for this project included the following:

- Air Handler Cleaning Includes: Hand contact HEPA vacuum cleaning the interior surfaces, the blower fan, and thoroughly clean and rinse the cooling coils with an EPA approved coil cleaner. (Duct Detectives Incorporated does not steam clean cooling coils so we will have to exclude the steam coil cleaning method from our proposal.)

- Ductwork Cleaning Includes: Connecting the ductwork to a HEPA filtered negative air machine to collect the debris within the air system. Once connected, we will use air washing lances and air agitation devices to dislodge any debris internally and collect it back to the negative air machine until the ductwork is visibly cleaned. (Duct Detectives Incorporated does not condone the use of chemical cleaning products in the interior surfaces of air ducts per NADCA ACR 2013 standards.)

- Terminal Air Unit Cleaning Includes: Hand contact HEPA vacuum cleaning the interior surfaces until thoroughly cleaned.

- Air Vent Cleaning Includes: HEPA vacuum cleaning the surfaces and hand washing until thoroughly cleaned.
