Scope Of Work
WES is the Prime Contractor on this project. Ms. Wagner is the Project Manager overseeing 10 sub consultants and contact to Metro’s Transportation Planning Manager. The project includes reconstruction of auxiliary track for approximately 3.9 miles with an industrial spur, relocation of utilities, relocation of signal houses, a new Control Point, construction of a new bridge and lengthening of culverts. The objective of the project is to complete environmental reviews and develop preliminary engineering (30%), resulting in the required documentation and approvals to support final design and construction of the Lone Hill Avenue to CP White Double Track Project.
Completion of the construction project will result in improved service along the corridor for Metrolink passenger rail service as well as UPRR freight service. In addition, the Project will upgrade approximately ten at-grade crossings, and may provide a side platform or crossover at the Pomona Fairgrounds Temporary Station.
