SCOPE OF WORK:
We completed a turn-key plant renovation of an existing exhaust facility into a world-class automotive lighting plant.
- Installation of new process chiller systems
- Installation of new process piping loops and a clean air loop
- Installation of new injection mold machines (IMMs)
- Complete installation of a dual 20T overhead crane system
- Lab area build outs
- Complete facility electrical power upgrade
CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED:
- Scheduling and coordinating with the customer and various vendors to ensure project deadlines were met.
- Ensuring all milestones were met to maintain a tight timeline.
- Working with the customer to meet corporate standards to create a value engineered job while still maintaining a world-class automotive lighting facility.
- Ensuring a safe and accident free workplace with Lee Contracting’s and Magneti Marelli’s safety departments.
