Our Story
David J. King, a former local industrial education instructor and his wife decided to expand on their hobby of woodworking by providing other woodworkers with affordable, quality domestic and imported lumber.
Therefore, the Barn Door Lumber Company began in an old wooden barn back in 1983. We've since moved out of that old barn and into a new modern facility.
As our business grew, we have added many lines of quality woodworking tools, accessories, and related services. We handle everything from moulding and millwork to specialty building supply materials. We carry over 30 species of wood!
