Our Story
1957 was a banner year in American history. Elvis Presley appeared in his first movie, Jailhouse Rock, and the Everly Brothers traveled to Nashville, Kentucky, to record their hit record, Bye Bye Love. Meanwhile, in Major League Baseball, the Milwaukee Braves beat the New York Yankees in a seven-game world series.
And closer to home, Hudson Heating Company was founded by Donald Butcher, a Hudson resident. Don built his business from the ground up, doing both residential and commercial service and installations. As technology developed and new equipment became available and affordable, such as air conditioning, Hudson Heating expanded its services to its customers.
Under Don’s leadership, the company showed steady growth for the next 39 years and expanded its service area into neighboring communities.
Then in 1996, Don turned the reigns over to his son-in-law, Joseph Bettio, who had first started working at the company in 1988. Prior to his position at Hudson Heating, Joe served four years in the US Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. (Learn more about Joe’s commitment to veterans and his service to America.) Carrying on the reputation of trust that Don built, Joe continues to build relationships and trust with each customer.
Everyone in Hudson knew Don Butcher’s truck
Hudson Heating Company’s goal is to keep growing by providing exceptional customer satisfaction. The company focuses on giving prompt and professional service, installing the highest-quality and most dependable equipment, and using the latest technology available.
“We know that people have many choices when it comes to hiring a heating or air conditioning company to solve a problem,” said Bettio. “We have to give them the best possible service and value and make sure they are completely satisfied.”
