Scope Of Work
Being an Art Gallery, they wanted a Donor Wall to be very ARTISTIC. Not just the "Etched" glass lists on a wall. They wanted something unusual.
We went to the Gallery to get a "Feel" for the area. We were immediately drawn to the beautiful skies that day and thought the background should be shades of blue to represent the sky. Being the whole gallery is white (not to take away from the art on display) we wanted something that would stand out. Each level of donor has a different shaped/color leaf. Each leaf is artistically carved and and painted with the donors name(s).
Sheri Law also did 6 additional leaves which did not have names on them, but were hand-designed by Sheri with glass embellishments to make each a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
The McCord Gallery had an Open House to reveal the newly constructed addition and the Donor Wall. Everyone at the event commented on how beautiful the Donor Wall is.
