Scope Of Work
Barton Malow provided general contracting services to the City of Fort Wayne for the construction of a new wastewater treatment facility, concrete structures for new primary treatment and disinfection facilities, and improvements to existing preliminary and secondary treatment areas.
The scope of work included new primary clarification and sludge pumping facilities, new phosphorous removal and sodium hypochlorite facilities, and new wastewater screen equipment. Improvements to existing facilities included the return activated sludge (RAS) pumping facility and demolition and removal of unused structures.
