Scope Of Work
This state-of-the-art terminal facility consists of 349,065 square feet of public and baggage handling spaces, and includes significant vertical transportation systems using 18 elevators and eight escalators. Baggage handling is served by six carousels, with sortation taking place in a 104,000-square-foot basement.
Site work included a cut-and-cover tug tunnel that joins to the air-side concourse and an elevated automated people mover that transfers travelers from the terminal building to the concourse. In addition, eight elevated bridge structures were constructed to carry traffic around the terminal building.
