Scope Of Work
The new 352-foot cast-in-place airport traffic control tower rises above McCarran International Airport, and was constructed along with a four-level terminal radar approach control building (TRACON) and a two-level parking garage. All three structures used multi-integrally colored concrete. The control tower has a cast-in-place concrete core, a structural steel interior frame and a tuned mass damper on Level 16 to decrease building sway.
