Scope Of Work
The existing Foothills Bridge was damaged by a fallen tree, leaving the well-used foothills pedestrian trail impassable, requiring replacement. The majority of the project consisted of a steel plate arch bridge and reinforced earthen retaining walls. The access to the project proved extremely limited, making an out of the box construction approach necessary for the success of the project, Pierce County, neighboring land owners and the community at large.
