Scope Of Work
Sequoia General Contracting Corp. remodeled 16,000 square feet of office area into a new front office support facility for one of the world’s largest manufacturers of heat exchanger equipment. A complex part of this project was turning an empty 137,000 square foot facility into a complex industrial manufacturing facility which comprised moving 50 pieces of equipment from 2 plants in Melrose Park to the new Wood Dale facility. All existing equipment required all MEP, air services roughed in. The massive equipment members were decommissioned and hauled to the Wood Dale facility. Complex connections where made, calibrations undertaken and manufacturing commenced within the Owner’s critical scheduling requirements. New energy efficient lighting was installed throughout. Locker rooms and offices were completely remodeled.
