Scope Of Work
Pincus Construction renovated an 11,400 square foot interior space to include new ceilings, new drywall partitions, new storefront framing and glass, new flooring, and new fixtures. There was an existing West Elm Store that was renovated to include GAP, Gap Body and Baby Gap. The work performed included:
Interior demolition involved removing a freight elevator, demolishing an existing interior steel stairwell and conveyor belt that fed the space above
Installed concrete footings, steel columns, beams, steel floor pan and pouring with new lightweight concrete to infill the old stairwell opening
Installed steel columns, steel beams, and platforms to support one 20 ton air handler unit, two 15 ton air handler units and one 7.5 ton air handling unit
Removed and replaced 8,000 square feet of hardwood flooring
Performed the demolition and a small portion of the re-construction work during off-hours as the space above us and the space adjacent to our space were occupied with existing tenants
Built a two hour rated fire shaft to contain ductwork that penetrated the second floor and fed the first floor space
