Scope Of Work

The Monohon set a new standard for high quality, wood-framed, multi-family construction in the Puget Sound region. The boutique community of 47 homes features four stories of condominiums above an underground garage, featuring post-tension concrete construction. The community’s clubhouse boasts a lodge-inspired aesthetic, with appearance-grade, pressure-treated timber framing, a classic stone fireplace, large indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces and a fully equipped fitness center. The residential building includes a state-of-the-art rain screen and siding system, an innovative heat pump heating and cooling system, a steel railing system designed to eliminate water intrusion, and a complex detention system which addresses the site’s sloped angle and pre-existing, poor soil conditions. In addition, for added privacy and sound absorption, Saltaire incorporated a sound attenuation system that includes tilt-and-turn windows, asymmetric glazing, and isolated floor and wall assemblies.
