Scope Of Work
Cadence McShane Construction Company provided construction management services for United American Insurance to construct the 150,762-square-foot corporate headquarters for its subsidiary, Torchmark Corporation, located in McKinney, Texas. The two-story building is located on 18 acres adjacent to the existing office building.
The facility features brick and cast stone accenting its concrete tiltwall structure. Additionally, the staircase leading from the first level to the second level is a free standing spiral structure. Interior features include wood paneling, free-standing, etched glass panels and elaborate custom lighting. Cadence McShane also added 537 new parking spaces to the site, bringing the total number of parking spots to 1,251.
