Scope Of Work
The renovation of the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Building included demolition, asbestos removal, installation of new mechanical and electrical systems and installation of new interior architectural features throughout all six stories. The building was kept in operation during the eight phases of construction (with several sub phases) with a total of 120,000 square feet of space renovated. Included in the renovation were construction of new courtrooms and the refurbishment of existing courtrooms. Renovation of office space, Judge’s chambers, Jury rooms, conference areas, an evidence room and the law library were also included in the scope of work. Approximately half of the area renovated included complete demolition and replacement of existing architectural, mechanical and electrical features.
