Scope Of Work
To renovate the façade of the Convention Center including the construction of a new entry plaza and rotunda. The plaza was a patterned concrete slab on grade. The centerpiece of the plaza was a 60ft. high rotunda with diameters of 50 ft. at the ground level and 60 ft. at the top. Eight vertical, outward leaning trusses supported rings of 3 ½ inch diameter pipe from which hung curtains of stainless steel flexible metal fabric. Renovations to the existing building façade required the restoration and replacement of polished granite cladding and the addition of exterior lighting.
