Scope Of Work

The BMW of Dayton renovation project-scope included demolition of all existing exterior and interior finishes, interior partitions, and sitework around the showroom. New site concrete and planters were installed around the perimeter of the showroom. A new exterior façade and was installed using EIFS, the canopy was reconfigured, and the existing curtainwall was reconfigured with new aluminum entrances and the replacement of the glass. Inside, the MEP systems were reconfigured to accommodate the new interior layout, including new bathrooms, a lounge with a wet café bar, and offices. New porcelain tile flooring was installed throughout. A new ceiling configuration was installed with all-new efficient LED lighting along with programable LED effects-lighting that was installed along the perimeter of a large, dropped, hard-ceiling feature running the length of the showroom. In the service garage, the concrete floor was ground down approximately 1.5” to accommodate a new “clinker tile” flooring system throughout the area surrounding the service lifts. The remaining floor area received a multi-coat epoxy flooring system and the entire service garage was repainted. Much of the service-garage work was completed off-hours to minimize the impact to ongoing operations at the dealership.
