Fulton Nassau Crossroads Corridor Revitalization: $20M
the $20M Fulton Nassau Crossroads program – a key component of the City’s effort to revitalize Lower Manhattan. The program’s goal was to create a more enjoyable 21st Century experience for visitors, workers and residents, while amplifying the beauty of some of New York’s most historic architecture. The design created simple, well-designed storefronts while improving their openness and transparency, preserving the historic character of the neighborhood’s buildings when possible, and highlighting the uniqueness and diversity of the corridor. It was designed to be Lower Manhattan’s place for residents, workers, and tourists to stop and shop and is located between the South Street Seaport and the World Trade Center.

The project included the construction of a new timber pier, construction of a new precast concrete pier, rehabilitation of existing docking facilities, and the construction and/or renovation of five new floating platforms. Site amenities included the construction of a new ticket booth building, an upland waterfront esplanade park, a new express bus stop, and an interior waiting area in a historic building.
