Scope Of Work
As the first store of the Primrose Marketplace in Springfield, Missouri, the 20,000 square foot TJ Maxx set a coordination precedent for the construction team. Not only did the store have to go up in a tight time frame, but the shopping center infrastructure – parking lots, sidewalks, extensions, curb cuts and utilities – had to be finished as well.
Working through the winter months and closely with TJ Maxx’s professional corporate team, Jim Achurch dealt with rain and mud to complete TJ Maxx and its surroundings in time for the retailer’s fixturing deadline.
TJ Maxx is the largest off-price apparel retailer in the United States, offering brand-name family apparel, giftware, domestics, women’s shoes, accessories, and fine jewelry at prices 20-60% below department store regular prices. TJ Maxx currently operates an extensive number of stores throughout the US.
