Scope Of Work
This storage and warehouse project was challenged by up to 9 feet of contaminated, uncontrolled fill. This resulted in $1 million in soil remediation before the project could progress. O'Brien worked with environmental consultants and the owner to minimize cost and schedule impacts. Building foundations were deepened to bear in native soils, and extensive under-cutting was applied to the parking lot (which covers almost all of the site). The project was completed within 30 days of original schedule despite a 90 day delay.
