Scope Of Work
Situated along the shore of the Detroit River, this 18 story development for seniors was originally built in the 1970's. Over time, the building's brick exterior suffered significant deterioration resulting in a loss of moisture-resistance. O'Brien Construction sealed the building's original brick and attached a new metal wall panel system on the exterior. The panel system contained 2" rigid foam insulation which increased the structure's energy efficiency. Resident units were renovated along with first floor common areas, six laundry rooms, and the replacement of first floor windows.
