Scope Of Work

The 142,000-square-foot Holiday Inn & Suites offers 139 guestrooms and suites. The first four floors are constructed of post-tension concrete that creates a platform on which the additional three floors of guestrooms are constructed of metal stud framing. The hotel houses a restaurant on the first floor, parking on the second and third floors, and an elevated pool on the fourth floor. The LEED Silver-certified project is designed to complement the landscape of downtown Chattanooga. Constructing the project required the closure of a major downtown street and navigation around power, telecommunication, water and sewer service lines that fed most of the downtown district.
