Scope Of Work
The AutoZone Headquarters project in Memphis, Tenn., entails a new eight-story downtown office building as well as renovation and the addition of a 230,000 square-foot parking garage. Our EMJ team incorporates base isolation seismic design and construction. The building sits on top of 43 base isolators, allowing the entire structure to “float” up to 10 inches in all directions in case of an earthquake. Extensive decision phase efforts contribute to this unique structural design.
