Scope Of Work
Strebig Construction Inc. was the successful bidder on this Public Works, competitive bid, wage scale project. Steuben County Aviation Commission navigated a three year long effort to raise the funds to build this State of The Art facility. Completed the fall of 2012, Strebig Construction, Inc. used Nucor pre-engineered steel for the structure and integrated mezzanine. The building features an 9,000 sq. ft. hangar with in floor radiant heat and an 87 ft. clear opening rolling door to accommodate the finest of transient corporate jets, a two story FBO totaling 6,000 sq. ft. complete with pilot facilities, an elevator, classroom, boardroom, and many other amenities.
