Scope Of Work
Joe Koppeis of 11 South Building One, LLC., selected Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, Inc. as the Construction Manager of a 5 story Class A professional office building located in Columbia, Illinois. The building is the first of multiple buildings planned for the 26-acre site.
Korte & Luitjohan worked with the Developer and the Architect on the exterior shell and interior core of the building to ensure constructability and assistance in budget alignment.
The 60,000 SF building makes extensive use of glass and is accented by masonry and architectural metal panels.
The windows provide beautiful views of the Columbia bluffs landscape and Jefferson Barrack’s Bridge over the Mississippi River. Highlighted by access to a roof terrace, the fifth floor features a large conference room which is available for a wide range of events.
The Developers chose the name 11 South, as a result of the location, 11 miles south of the Gateway Arch.
