Scope Of Work
This project, built with SPLOST funds, serves as the new main library for the Columbus, Georgia, school system. The landmark structure has a copper roof and stone exterior with a steel frame. Instead of a central energy plant, this facility was designed and constructed to use geothermal heating and cooling.
The project scope included relocation of the library from a previous location; mechanical, audio/visual and security services, landscape and elevator maintenance agreements, and the purchase and installation of owner-selected FF&E.
