Scope Of Work

The Keowee Key amenities reflect a Modern Prairie Architecture complementary to the original 1970’s buildings. The Hogan led design-build team worked with the Keowee Key POA Building Committee to update one of their pool facilities with the addition of a 4,000 square foot North Marina Pool Complex that includes a Marina Office, Ship’s Store, Kitchen, and Community Social Area. A large deck strategically overlooks a 3,000 square foot zero entry pool that puts the limitless views of Lake Keowee and marina directly in line of sight for all residents and guests.

The new Administration building complete with rock accents and storefront exterior features a clerestory tower element fostering natural lighting into the 24 foot ceiling center of the building. In cooperation and respect of the current business operations, the previous main office building remained intact until construction completion.

In response to the active lifestyle of its Keowee Key Community residents, the multiple amenity design not only included four new tennis courts constructed with clay playing surfaces and four Pickleball courts, but also the final demolition component consisted of replacing the original pool location with the addition of a community green space nestled in a tranquil, lakefront cove.

The final component consisted of the demolition of the original pool complex which was replaced with a picnic shelter, restrooms and lawn area for community activities.
