Scope Of Work
The Historic Ali Cultural Arts Center is located in an architectural gemstone. This remarkable construction, built in the 1930s, was originally a home and later adapted for commercial use. Important historic events took place here, hence the strong desire to preserve and highlight this building.
As part of an extensive renovation plan for the city, the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency purchased the building in 2012. The Ali cultural Arts Center was born from the vision of developing a world-class cultural arts venue in this historic landmark. DK Architects did the design for the new center. The entire project was completed in November of 2015.
The Ali Cultural Arts Center place of community enrichment and historic preservation. Rotating exhibitions highlight local, national and international artists. Above all, the goal was to honor and feature the rich history behind this iconic building.
This design is another great example of Municipal Architecture projects done by DK Architects. We are very proud to work and live in the Pompano Beach. DK Architects is a local design firm and, above all, we commit to the growth and development of our city.
