Scope Of Work
JE Dunn completed a new high school in Williston, North Dakota June of 2017. The building is approximately 195,000 SF of classrooms, support spaces, and vocational spaces, with one auditorium and one gymnasium. Site infrastructure includes two main parking lots with access to drop-offs with approximately 900 parking spaces, a new track and football field, two practice fields and an approximately 200' diameter detention pond for storm water management.
A separate 20,000 SF career and technical education (CTE) building is also included, along with a full performing arts center and football stadium. The Career and Technical Education Building at the Williston High School included construction of a 20,800 SF building with four trade shops including Vo-Ag, building trades, automotive, and diesel mechanic shops. It also included four classrooms for meat lab, tech lab, health and science classrooms and a 900 SF greenhouse. The building was constructed from a pre-engineered metal building with brick and metal panel facades, interior masonry walls, sealed concrete floors and integrated MEP systems for each of the shops with dust collection systems, exhaust systems and compressed air for tools.
