Scope Of Work

Founded in 1953, Western Healthcare Federal Credit Union (WHFCU) had a single branch in Martinez. After 15 years in the that space, the countdown began on the expiration of their lease. Inspired by the CU branch transformation trend, Diana Michaels, WHFCU CEO, started discussions with the board about investing in a property rather than leasing space. After running the numbers on purchasing and renovating a tired  building in a great setting, Diana saw an opportunity for an outstanding investment for the CU.  Now she needed a Design-Build partner to physically transform the branch into her vision for an open concept space inspired by the harmonious surroundings. Turning to IBG, Diana valued having a partner that listened to her, and took her ideas and made them happen.
